Stainless steel smudges easily – but cleaning it wrong leaves streaks and dullness.
- Always wipe in the direction of the grain (the faint lines on the surface).
- For fingerprints and light smudges: a few drops of mineral oil on a microfiber cloth, wiped with the grain.
- For grease and food residue: dish soap and warm water, wiped with grain, dried immediately.
- For water spots: undiluted white vinegar wiped with grain.
Avoid: steel wool, abrasive cleaners, bleach, and wiping against the grain. All cause scratches that cannot be removed.
