These terms apply to cleaning services provided by Centennial Cleaners (“we,” “us,” or “our”) to our customers (“you”). By booking a service with us, you agree to these terms.
Services We Provide
We offer residential cleaning, commercial and janitorial cleaning, and post-construction cleaning throughout Southern Utah and Northern Arizona.
The specific work included in your service is what we agree to in your quote or service agreement. If you need something outside that scope, let us know and we will quote it separately rather than adding it to an existing visit.
Services We Do Not Provide
We do not perform:
- Biohazard cleanup, including blood, bodily fluids, sewage, or animal waste
- Hoarding cleanup
- Pest control or extermination, which requires separate licensing
Mold: We handle some surface mold cleaning as part of general cleaning work. We are not a mold remediation company, and we do not perform structural or large-scale mold removal. If we find mold beyond routine surface cleaning, we will tell you and recommend a remediation specialist.
Exterior windows: For most residential jobs we clean upper exterior windows. Whether we can safely reach a particular window depends on its height and the access available, and we assess this per property. We will tell you up front if a window is beyond what we can safely reach.
If we arrive and find conditions that fall outside what we agreed to, or that we consider unsafe, we will contact you before proceeding.
Scheduling, Cancellation, and Rescheduling
We ask for at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a scheduled cleaning. This lets us offer the time slot to another customer.
If we arrive as scheduled and cannot access the property or cannot work because of conditions on site, we treat it as a cancellation without notice.
We will give you as much notice as we can if we need to reschedule on our end, whether for weather, illness, or equipment problems.
Property Access
Access arrangements vary by customer. Depending on what we agree, you may be present during service, provide a key, or give us a door or lockbox code.
You are responsible for making sure we can reliably get in at the scheduled time. If you change a code or lock, please tell us before your next visit.
Where we hold a key or code, we keep it secured and use it only to provide the services you have booked. You may ask us to return a key or delete a code at any time.
Supplies and Equipment
We bring all cleaning products and equipment needed for your service. You do not need to supply anything.
If you would like us to use a specific product you provide — for a particular surface, an allergy, or a personal preference — we are glad to, but we cannot be responsible for the results that product produces or any damage it causes.
Preparing for Your Cleaning
To help us do the best work in the time booked, we ask that you:
- Pick up personal items, clutter, and valuables from surfaces we will be cleaning
- Secure or make arrangements for pets that may be anxious around unfamiliar people
- Let us know in advance about delicate surfaces, antiques, or anything needing special care
- Make sure utilities, particularly water and electricity, are on and working
We are not responsible for cleaning around excessive clutter, and heavily cluttered areas may need to be quoted separately.
Payment
We invoice for our services. Payment terms depend on the type of work:
| Service | Payment due |
|---|---|
| Residential cleaning | Within 15 days of invoice |
| Commercial and janitorial | Within 30 days of invoice |
| New construction cleaning | Within 30 days of invoice |
Quoted prices reflect the scope of work described at the time of the quote. If the actual condition of the property differs substantially from what we were told or shown, we will contact you to discuss an adjusted price before continuing.
We reserve the right to pause or discontinue service on accounts with significantly overdue balances.
Our Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind our work. If we miss something or you are not satisfied with part of a cleaning, contact us and we will return to re-clean the area at no additional charge, as soon as we can reasonably schedule it.
The guarantee covers re-cleaning work within the scope of the service you booked. It does not cover work that was never part of the agreed scope, or new mess created after we left.
Please tell us as soon as you notice a problem. The sooner we hear, the sooner we can make it right.
Damage and Breakage
Our team is trained and expected to report any accidental damage immediately, before leaving your property. We would far rather tell you ourselves than have you discover it later.
If something is missed and you notice damage after we have gone, please report it to us within 48 hours of the service. Reporting promptly lets us investigate while the circumstances are still clear.
We are licensed and insured in the states where we operate. Where we are responsible for damage, we will work with you to repair, replace, or otherwise resolve it fairly.
We cannot accept responsibility for:
- Damage from pre-existing wear, defects, or improper prior installation
- Items that were already broken, loose, or unstable
- Surfaces damaged by products you asked us to use
- Normal wear from routine cleaning of delicate or aging materials
Our Employees
Our team members are our employees, and we handle their training, screening, and supervision. Please direct any concerns about a team member to us rather than addressing them on site.
We ask that customers not solicit our employees for private work outside of Centennial Cleaners.
Right to Decline or Discontinue Service
We may decline or end service where a property is unsafe, where a team member is treated abusively, where conditions differ materially from what was represented to us, or where an account is significantly past due.
Liability
Our responsibility is limited to the cleaning services we agree to provide. Except as described in the damage section above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from our services.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Privacy
Information you give us when booking is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as our business changes. The revision date at the top shows the current version, and the terms in effect when you book are the ones that apply to that service.
Where We Operate and Governing Law
Centennial Cleaners is registered to do business in both Utah and Arizona. We provide services in Southern Utah and Northern Arizona, and we follow the law of the state where your service takes place.
If your cleaning is performed in Utah, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. If your cleaning is performed in Arizona, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.
In each case we comply with that state’s licensing, insurance, and consumer protection requirements, and you keep the full consumer protections of the state where your service was performed.
