Dirty grout makes a clean bathroom look grimy – but you don’t need to spend an hour on your knees to fix it.
Try this:
- Mix equal parts baking soda and dish soap into a paste.
- Apply it to the grout lines with an old toothbrush.
- Spray white vinegar over the paste – it will fizz and bubble, lifting the stain.
- Scrub briefly, then rinse with warm water.
For stubborn mildew stains, apply a small amount of hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 10 minutes before scrubbing.
Seal your grout once a year and you’ll find it much easier to keep clean in between.
