Dirty makeup brushes harbor bacteria that causes breakouts. Clean them weekly if you use them daily.

  1. Wet the bristles with lukewarm water. Keep the ferrule (metal part) dry.
  2. Work a small amount of gentle shampoo into the bristles.
  3. Rinse until the water runs clear.
  4. Gently reshape the bristles.
  5. Lay flat to dry – never upright. Water drains into the ferrule and loosens the glue.

For a quick clean between uses: spray with 70% isopropyl alcohol and wipe on a clean cloth until no color transfers. Full washing weekly, quick-cleaning between uses.
