Upholstered furniture lasts longer and looks better when cleaned regularly.
Check the tag first:
- W: Water-based cleaners safe.
- S: Solvent-based cleaner only. Water will leave rings.
- WS: Either works.
- X: Vacuum only. No liquid cleaners.
For W or WS fabric:
- Vacuum all surfaces with an upholstery attachment.
- Mix a small amount of dish soap with warm water and whip into foam.
- Apply only the foam (not liquid) with a soft brush. Work in circles.
- Blot with a clean damp cloth. Allow to air dry fully.
