The steam method makes microwave cleaning almost effortless.

  1. Place a microwave-safe bowl with 1 cup of water and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar inside.
  2. Microwave on high for 5 minutes. The steam loosens everything inside.
  3. Leave the door closed for 2 minutes after – the steam keeps working.
  4. Remove the bowl carefully (it will be very hot).
  5. Wipe all interior surfaces with a damp cloth – everything comes right off.
  6. Remove the turntable plate and wash in the sink.

Do this weekly and spills never have time to bake on permanently.
