Garage floors collect oil, dirt, and grime that becomes a slip hazard over time.

  1. Remove everything from the area to be cleaned.
  2. Sweep thoroughly with a stiff broom.
  3. For oil stains: apply cat litter or baking soda, let absorb for 30 minutes, sweep up.
  4. Pre-treat remaining stains with a degreaser. Let sit per label directions.
  5. Scrub with a stiff deck brush and rinse with a garden hose.
  6. For deeper cleaning, use a pressure washer if available.

Apply a concrete sealer annually to protect the floor and make future cleaning much easier.
