Patio furniture takes a beating all summer – sun, heat, and dust leave it looking worn even when it isn’t.

A quick clean makes it look new again:

  1. Hose off cushions and let them air dry in the sun.
  2. For fabric cushions with mildew spots, spray with a mixture of 1 cup white vinegar and 1 cup water. Scrub lightly and rinse.
  3. Wipe down metal or plastic frames with soapy water and a cloth. Dry immediately to prevent rust or water spots.
  4. For teak or wood furniture, a quick scrub with soapy water and a soft brush restores the grain. Let dry fully before applying teak oil if desired.

Clean furniture stored properly at the end of the season lasts significantly longer than furniture left dirty through winter.
