Garage floors collect oil, dirt, and grime that becomes a slip hazard over time.
- Remove everything from the area to be cleaned.
- Sweep thoroughly with a stiff broom.
- For oil stains: apply cat litter or baking soda, let absorb for 30 minutes, sweep up.
- Pre-treat remaining stains with a degreaser. Let sit per label directions.
- Scrub with a stiff deck brush and rinse with a garden hose.
- For deeper cleaning, use a pressure washer if available.
Apply a concrete sealer annually to protect the floor and make future cleaning much easier.
